In Battlefield 3, the Rifle Scope is an unlockable weapon attachment available for most weapons with the exception of handguns, mounted on the top of the weapon using a universal mounting platform, providing fixed 6x magnification and a ballistic reticle to help with long range engagements.

This scope, unlike a slightly weaker ACOG and PSO-1 scopes, can be steadied using a sprint button on a controller, or by deploying a weapon on a bipod , but it can also reveal shooter's position when aimed at enemies, due to a visible light reflection from the front of the optics.

Because of the wide availability of the scope the model was not mentioned in the game, although its icon would indicate that it's a Bariska AC10010 6x42 Euro-30 Scope .
