The Galil ARM is a light-machine gun variant of the IMI Galil assault rifle chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO. Compared to the standard AR configuration, the weapon features a carrying handle and integrated bipod, as well as larger handguard. When folded up, the bipod functions as a speed chute during reloading. Originally, the handguards were made of wood, which would keep the barrel significantly cooler during sustained fire, but these were eventually replaced with polymer handguards.

The Galil ARM appears in Battlefield Hardline as the ARM. In game, the weapon has both the bipod and carrying handle removed, and is categorized as an Assault Rifle.

Battlefield Hardline[]

"Based on a modified AK-47, the ARM operates with a select-fire gas-driven piston system with no regulator. The ARM has a larger capacity magazine than other comparable assault rifles."

— In-game description

The ARM is an assault rifle featured in Battlefield Hardline for the Operator kit. It is unlocked upon completion of the Operator Syndicate assignment.

It has largest capacity in its class along with the RPK and RPK-74 at 50 + 1 in the chamber, but to balance this has the slowest time to kill of all the assault rifles. Despite this, it still has the fastest short reload and lowest recoil of all assault rifles.
