Anti Heli Mine IRL

Anti-helicopter mine

An Anti-Air Mine is a device that targets air vehicles that fly within its radius.

Battlefield 4Edit

"Anti-Air Mine which targets air vehicles flying within its radius."
— Battlelog description

The Anti-Air Mine is a gadget introduced in the Battlefield 4: Naval Strike expansion. It is unlocked upon completion of the Death From Below assignment.

It comes with a single-use surface-to-air missile that will track and lock onto enemy aircraft. When in range, the missile is automatically fired at the target, inflicting mobility damage. After firing, the remainder of the system self-destructs. Once deployed, the operator may not pick the gadget back up.

When first added to the game, players were able to equip two mines at a time. A patch later changed this to only one.
