The Lenco BearCat (Ballistic Engineered Armored Response Counter Attack Truck), sometimes referred to as an Armored Rescue Vehicle, is an armored personnel carrier designed for military and law enforcement use. Based on the Ford F-550 Super Duty Chassis, it was designed by Lenco Industries in 2001. The bodywork is fitted with half an inch thick steel with .50 caliber-rated ballistic glass capable of withstanding multiple hits, blast-resistant floors, specially designed gunports, roof hatches equipped with a mounted turret, and agency-specific equipment and/or modifications such as lights/sirens/battering ram/winches/thermal cameras and spot lights. They are primarily used to transport personnel such as SWAT units of Special Response Teams to and from hostile situations as well as to assist with the recovery and protection of civilians during terrorist threats, hostage incidents or encounters with armed offenders.

Unlike armored cars in previous games, the main weapons are controlled by the driver, in a manner similar to the LAV-25 of Battlefield 4. The driver has a powerful machine gun at his disposal, providing ample means to attack both light and heavy vehicles, infantry, or aircraft. The driver is also equipped with a Smoke Grenade launcher or Tear Gas launcher as a secondary weapon.
The second position is armed with a M249 SAW on a 360° mount, effective for fighting off infantry or light vehicles.
The vehicle is completely armored and has bulletproof windows, and cannot be damaged by small arms fire. It can only be damaged by explosives or powerful vehicle weapons.
- The Battlefield Hardline booth at E3 2014 featured a real-life Lenco BearCat that was customized to match the in-game version.
