An Auto Loader is a device that automatically reloads a normally non-automatic high-caliber firearm, e.g. a tank gun, or even a 406 mm naval "rifle" of a battleship. Autoloaders are used for either two reasons: to load shells too heavy to handle by a person, or to boost the rate of fire and cut down the number of the gun crew.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2[]

"These enhanced ammunition racks diminish the time needed to re-loading the vehicles' primary weapons. It reduces the vulnerability to enemy attacks during reload stops."

— In-game description

The Quick Reload Package is a vehicle specialization featured in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and is obtained after acquiring 5000 experience points with any vehicle or emplacement.

It decreases the reload time of vehicle main weapons by 15% and is a passive specialization, meaning that it does not require user input to activate as it will always be activated the second a player uses a vehicle or emplacement and will deactivate upon leaving unless another player in the vehicle had the same specialization.

It can be very useful on Attack Helicopters, the UAV-1, or tanks/IFVs, as they have longer reload times and may need to put out more shots in a shorter time frame. However, the specialization is not useful on vehicles without mounted weapons, like the Quad Bike and the Personal Watercraft.

Battlefield 3[]

Battlefield 3 features two vehicle specializations that function exactly the same and only differ in name and the vehicle they are utilized for.

Auto Loader[]

"An enhanced mechanism decreases the minimum time between firing rounds in your main weapon."

— Battlelog description

Singleplayer[]

It can be noted that in the two tank missions, the M1 Abrams is equipped with the Auto Loader (even with the fact that Ingham is an A.I. character who loads the tank's sabot).

Multiplayer[]

Auto Loader is a specialization for MBTs, Mobile Artillery Vehicles, Tank Destroyers and oddly, attack helicopters, that increases the main weapon's reload rate.

Belt Speed[]

"An enhanced mechanism decreases the minimum time between firing bursts with your main weapon."

— Battlelog description

Belt Speed decreases the minimum time between firing bursts with the main weapon. It functions for jets, scout helicopters, and mobile anti-air vehicles, decreasing the reload time by 20%.

Battlefield 4[]

Battlefield 4 features two vehicle specializations that function exactly the same and only differ in name and the vehicle they are utilized for. They both have a similar effect to the Battlefield 3 counterpart.

Auto Loader[]

"An enhanced mechanism that reduces the time taken to reload."

— In-Game description

The Autoloader is a vehicle specialization for Main Battle Tanks, Infantry Fighting Vehicles, and Mobile Anti-Air vehicles in Battlefield 4. It reduces the time taken to reload between shots.

Belt Feeder[]

"An enhanced mechanism that reduces the time taken to reload."

— In-Game Description

Belt Feeder is a vehicle specialization for Attack Boats, Jets, Scout Helicopters, and the gunner seat of Attack Helicopters. It reduces the time taken to reload between shots.
