A Bf 110 in real life.

The Messerschmitt BF 110 was a German multi-purpose combat aircraft used during World War II. Primarily used as a heavy fighter, the BF 110 was designed in the 1930s and entered service in 1937. Approximately 6,170 were built.

Battlefield 1942[]

"The BF110 fulfills the role of a 2-person level bomber. It is more maneuverable than the Heavy Bomber and can withstand more damage than the Dive Bomber. It's[sic] payload of bombs will turn any ground force caught in its bombsights into nothing more than a smoldering ruin. An empty back-gunner position is useful when a teammate needs a quick pick-up."
