The Battlefield 1: Official Gameplay Trailer is the first gameplay trailer released for Battlefield 1. The trailer was released during the EA Play event at E3 2016, which also featured the first livestream of Battlefield 1 gameplay.
The trailer begins with singleplayer footage of a scene with German soldiers attempting to board a Mark V tank, which is stuck in the mud, as the British tank crew tries to repel the attack. It then switches to gameplay footage of the game's multiplayer, showing off maps from the European front, including The St. Quentin Scar, Monte Grappa, and Amiens.
Various new features are shown off, including new melee takedowns, vehicle gameplay showing players now physically entering their vehicles, and fighter planes engaging a Zeppelin. The scene returns to the soldiers from the beginning, who are looking up to see artillery shells hurtling towards their position. After the Battlefield 1 logo appears, the final scene shows Ottoman cavalry chasing down an armored train, which begins to fire on the cavalry as they draw near.
