The Battlefield Blog was a news website that was launched by Electronic Arts on April 21, 2009 as the successor to the Battlefield Portal. It was used to advertise installments in the Battlefield series as well as announce any related news.

Aside from news, the website also featured videos and polls related to the series as well as being a portal to all Battlefield game websites where they were available for purchase. Many features of the website as well as BFHQ were incorporated into Battlelog which released alongside Battlefield 3 in 2011. It continued to be used for several more years until the last news story was released on October 30, 2014 where it was completely replaced by Battlelog afterwards.
