As a sub-project of the article classification project, some of our images and other files (including videos and audio files) are classified.

Due to the effort required to classify over 4000 images, only the very best and the worst images are categorized, as outlined below.

GoldEdit

Images considered the very best may be voted Gold files by the community.

Voting takes place at Battlefield Wiki:File Classification/Nominations, and discussions are archived at Battlefield Wiki:File Classification/Archive.

Need ReplacingEdit

Images that are considered poor (or cannot remain permanently due to copyright issues) are tagged with Template:Replace (with a parameter for the reason, either quality or copyright).

Anyone can tag a file with a replace template if they feel the image is substandard, and anyone may dispute it on the talk page. Voting is not required.

These images need replacing with images that are self-made or of better quality (preferably both).
