Loadout Presets are a feature of Battlelog for Battlefield 4 that was added on April 8, 2014. The feature allows players to save and name soldier and vehicle loadouts so as to allow players to switch between loadouts and playstyles quicker.
Each class and vehicle can have up to two preset slots, with Premium members having access to four slots per class and vehicle. Loadout Presets are only available on Battlelog are not present in-game.
Loadout Presets return in Battlefield 1, this time as an in-game mechanic for quickly choosing a set of weapon customizations. The presets appear in the spawn menu, presenting each instance of a weapon in a second-level menu, rather than having to dig into deeper menus to change individual weapon accessories. Presets can also change the damage properties and selective fire options available to the player.
