"The Bianchi FA-6 Light Machine Gun is remarkably effective as a provider of suppressive fire given its all-condition resilience and lengthy firing duration. Unlike its 21st century precursors, with its heat-resistant metal alloy components and computer-driven thermal transfer system, the Bianchi FA-6 requires neither mid-battle barrel changes nor maintenance, allowing for rapid, uninterrupted fire. With a retractable bipod, the Bianchi FA-6 is most accurate when fired from the prone position."

The Bianchi FA-6 LMG is a light machine gun featured in Battlefield 2142 for the European Union Support Kit.

It is effective at providing suppressive fire given its lengthy firing duration. It does not require a quick-changing barrel due to the barrel's heat-resistant metal alloy components and computerized thermal transfer system.

It has a high rate of fire and manageable recoil, especially when prone. Just like Shuko K-80 LMG, it becomes more accurate the longer it is fired, but it can cause the barrel to overheat, rendering it inoperable for several seconds.

A mounted variant of the Bianchi is found on Strike at Karkand 2142 and is similar to the infantry version of the weapon, with the main differences being no recoil as well as infinite ammunition.
