The game is due to come out officially on October 21, 2016 (not counting the early access from EA Access, Origin Access, or the pre-order bonus). However, EA and DICE are hosting one last event for the game's pre-release marketing period in order to show off more of the game's singleplayer and multiplayer components.
Titled the "Road to Battlefield 1", the game will be livestreamed on the official Battlefield Twitch channel. GREAT NEWS Battlefield Wiki. DICE has finally announced in a blog post that the Open Beta for Battlefield 1 will be available for everyone on August 31st, 2016.
You can gain early access to it by signing up for Battlefield Insider, however. To do this, follow this link and sign up and join. Afterwards, select your preferred platform and you'll recieve an early access beta code sometime next week.
This must be done before August 21st so be quick about it. DICE has not stated exactly how much early you'll get into the beta through its expected to be three days meaning you could potentially gain access on August 28th.

Late last week, DICE revealed that they'll be unveiling a brand new Battlefield game on Friday, May 6, with a countdown clock on the official website up to mark the event. No other information has been released so far, so stay tuned for all the new information coming Friday!
To celebrate, DICE and Visceral have started a Road To Battlefield event, offering certain expansions for Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline for free on all platforms until May 10. EA has announced today that the next Battlefield will be released in Fiscal year 2017 along with Titanfall 2 and Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Don't fret though Battlefield fans for it was confirmed to release in the first quarter of Fiscal year 2017, which starts in October 2016. Thats the typical release month of games in the Battlefield series, releasing about 3 years after Battlefield 4.
While we know it confirmed to return to the military setting, not much else has been revealed at the moment. DICE has kept a close lid on the game, even refusing to answer fan questions outright on social media sights. Fans of both Battlefield 4 and Hardline will happy with the news today; earlier this afternoon the release date of Battlefield 4: Legacy Operations was announced alongside the official announcement of Battlefield Hardline: Getaway via the official Battlefield Twitter account.
Legacy Operations will be dropping for BF4 players tomorrow, December 15. The free expansion includes the remade Dragon Valley 2015, bringing the classic Battlefield 2 map back to the game. Yesterday, DICE Stockholm Development Director Dan Vaderlind tweeted that now they've shipped Star Wars Battlefront, he's moving on to work on the next Battlefield game.
It's been confirmed that there's a new Battlefield title in the works for sometime, with its Q4 2016 release window being announced by EA CEO Andrew Wilson last October and later reiterated by COO Peter Moore at a recent meeting with investors. The new game has also been confirmed to be a military styled shooter by CFO Blake Jorgensen. Vaderlind's tweet is the first announcement from a DICE dev that the project is actively being worked on in some capacity by the studio.

Electronic Arts is finally recognizing the importance of E-Sports in the gaming world by launching a new division solely dedicated to the sport.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson announced that executive Peter Moore will be the new Executive Vice
President and Chief Competition Officer of the new Competitive Gaming Division (CGD). Todd Sitrin was also named the Senior Vice President and GM of the divison to better centralize EA's competitive gaming projects.
Some of the titles targeted to introduce E-Sports competitions as apart of the CGD are FIFA, Madden NFL', and of course Battlefield.

Earlier today, DICE LA released the official cinematic trailer for the upcoming Battlefield 4: Legacy Operations expansion. Created by the amazingly talented Hoodo_Operator, the new trailer shows off what you can expect from the remake of the Battlefield 2 classic, Dragon Valley, and includes a killer rendition of 2 PLA theme.
Veterans might recognize some familiar sights like the Pagoda and expanded Village flags, along with the return of repairable bridges.
