Ok straight to the point Bf3 sniping was bad. All through the beta and until they patched it the bolt actions were only one shot kills to the head. The semi auto snipers, slugs and frags rounds were better for long range for a long time. Then to top it off suppression made single shot reliant weapons like pump action shotguns and the bolt action snipers useless. Then to add to that frustration snipers had scope glint. So here are my ideas to improve sniping.

1. Make the bolt action snipers 1 shots from the triceps up at all ranges.

2. 1 shot waist up in 10M then after the 10M one shot kill triceps up. Keep suppression so that snipers dont become OP. Makes aggressive sniping possible and gives snipers a long range support role.

This months competition is for arming/disarming the most M-COMS in Rush. As you know, like the other competitions, this will be only on certain, premium only, and also password locked. It will run for 48 hours and will be only Aftermath maps. Each platform will have 5 winners and each will win a t-shirt that says DICE on it and a limited edition lithograph. It will run Saturday  and Sunday, the 16th and 17. This means that it will start at Midnight on the 16th UTC time.

For this month (January 2013), DICE has announced a new dog tag challenge for players to partake in.

It's nothing all complicated and all platforms (PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) will unlock the dog tag once the goal is reached.

This challenge encourages players to become a team player. By that, I mean players must do team support actions to unlock the dog tag. Actions include:

• Reviving
• Healing
• Repairing
• Resupplying
• Spotting
• Savior kills
• Squad Attack Orders
• Squad Defend Orders

Actions that are earned count for the challenge, regardless of map and game mode.

Players from all platforms must get 10,000,000,000 (aka "10 Billion") of those actions to unlock this dog tag (known as "Party Pooper"):

Personally I like slugs on the Dao 12 the best. It has a big magazine then most of the other shotguns(some tie mag capacity) and can fire while reloading.

So stat wise is there any reason to use one semi shotgun over the others? Like does one have higher muzzle velocity? does one have less drop over range? Does one have longer range with slugs?

ok lets start with the maps. the maps should be a variety of size from big maps to small maps right off the back. each map should be able to have parts to fit certain weapons like long halls for snipers and small rooms for shotguns.

for the vehicles i cant think of anyway to improve them since i dont use them a lot.

for the dlc: should not only bring in new weapons and maps it should bring new attachments( like a variable zoom scope for snipers), gadgets(like a one hit kill knife) and specializations(like carry 2 tier 2 gadgets or two primaries) if possible

first all weapons should have all attachments(except shotgun ammos). next bf4 weapons should be higher damage weapons like 3-5 kills for the automatic weapons(even ones with select fire)…

First of all, I want the ability to shoot a pistol while you are driving a motorcycle, I also want a flamethrower that can burn anything, and do not panic, because we are not Andy's toys (toy story reference) it won't be that powerful it will be like bad company 2 Vietnam exept more modern. The newest Battlefield 3 expansion pack Aftermath releases today allowing players to experience warfare in the aftermath *ucwatdeydidthere?* of a catastrophic earthquake in the middle east. This expansion also comes with multiple new modified vehicles, a new weapon the crossbow, and the new game type called scavanger in which players search the map for various weapons to gain the edge over the enemy who only spawns with a pistol, grenade and their knife. As of November 23 2012 DICE has released a gameplay video of Aftermath's new Scavenger mode for Premium Members.

The Player starts out with a random handgun,knife and 1 grenade and must find more powerful weapons on the map { Example:XBOW }

To win he/she must capture flags in the same manner as Conquest Domination in the Close Quarters DLC ,although with 5 Flags.

The new Dog Tag Challenge for November has started and everyone playing Battlefield 3, regardless if you're on PlayStation 3, PC or Xbox 360, can unlock a dog tag that has (get this) a skull that looks like the trollface (plus it says "III Trolling". "III" is the Roman numeral for 3 (third dog tag challenge for Battlefield 3)).

Basically, to get this dog tag, everyone playing Battlefield 3 (regardless of what platform you're on unlike the first two dog tag challenges) has to get 6.66 million flag captures together by November 27, which is the release date of Battlefield 3: Aftermath to PlayStation 3 Battlefield Premium members.

The challenge starts November 23 and ends November 27.

DICE has released a few more details about the upcoming Battlefield 3 Aftermath expansion, including a fly-through of one of the maps. The new expansion will feature aftershocks that go off at random intervals, and will obviously affect the gameplay. The ground will shake, debris will fall off buildings, etc, which will affect, or rather, disturb players throughout the map.

Aftermath will include 4 new maps, new weapons, new game modes, and new vehicles as well. It will launch next month. Premium members will of get it for free as it's part of the pack, while regular players will need to fork up $15 for the DLC. Also, check out a fly through of the map “Epicenter” here.

ok practically what i want from this buff 1. add the chest multiplier they added to the shoulders to triceps on the arm allowing for more one shot kill capability while not making it OP. 2. make the straight bull bolt increase snipers fire rate. Personally I know no one will agree but I think it should be 109 like the m26 mass' fire rate. The m26 with slugs kills in one shot in the same range a sniper does but has higher damage and better one shot kill potential upclose.

Just 8 more days before the end of October, and DICE has announced a new dog tag challenge.

(Yes, it's a dog tag challenge but oh well.)

The challenge is called "Air Kills Dog Tag Challenge". Basically, the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 communities in Battlefield 3 compete against each other to reach 2,000,000 (2 million) kills with Air Vehicles. That's regardless of game mode (maybe not Squad Rush or Gun Master) and map (except the Battlefield 3: Close Quarters maps).

Just kidding because I don't know what to say after the phrase, but anyways, should DICE put in new CO OP missions in the upcoming DLC, maybe they can put 4 players instead of 2 or maybe a mission where the four players split into two. The Wake Island challenge, as talked about in DiCePWNeD's blog post, has ended today.

As we would all have expected, the Battlefield 3 players on PlayStation 3 have reached 19,420 games on the map Wake Island before the PC and Xbox 360 players.

The PC players were second with a games count of 16,817 while Xbox 360 players placed third with a count of 16,295.

"In the spirit of celebration" (as DICE puts it), everyone playing Battlefield 3, regardless of console, gets to have the top prize of the Executioner dog tag (pictured below).

There will also be another Dog Tag challenge for October, as for all the other months leading up to Battlefield 3's (supposedly) last DLC, Battlefield 3: End Game.

Is a Bad Company TV Show under development for Fox Network?

A report from Deadline says yes. The project is allegedly being spearheaded by Alias producer John Eisendrath and Adam Sandler's Happy Madison studio, with support from EA's Patrick O'Brien and Patrick Bach as well as Happy Madison's Doug Robertson.

Deadline further reports the show will "portray the four hard-lucked soldiers in an hour long action-comedy series, following the troops as they leave the military and join the private sector".

Deadline reports the general plotline will be revolved around the soldiers being "harried by a former superior officer looking to tie up loose ends on his shady operations".
