EA has announced today that the next Battlefield will be released in Fiscal year 2017 along with Titanfall 2 and Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Don't fret though Battlefield fans for it was confirmed to release in the first quarter of Fiscal year 2017, which starts in October 2016. Thats the typical release month of games in the Battlefield series, releasing about 3 years after Battlefield 4.
While we know it confirmed to return to the military setting, not much else has been revealed at the moment. DICE has kept a close lid on the game, even refusing to answer fan questions outright on social media sights. This has led to much speculation as to what setting the game will be in but time will tell. We may just have to wait until E3 2016. -- 04:50, Janua…Read more >
So are there still any battlefield players still playing battlefield and managing the battlefield wiki because I was wanting to make sure that all the current information hasn't been tampered with or altered by that wikia wide hacking incident since I lost my account Dan67 since it wasn't email protected.

Yesterday, DICE Stockholm Development Director Dan Vaderlind tweeted that now they've shipped Star Wars Battlefront, he's moving on to work on the next Battlefield game.
It's been confirmed that there's a new Battlefield title in the works for sometime, with its Q4 2016 release window being announced by EA CEO Andrew Wilson last October and later reiterated by COO Peter Moore at a recent meeting with investors. The new game has also been confirmed to be a military styled shooter by CFO Blake Jorgensen. Vaderlind's tweet is the first announcement from a DICE dev that the project is actively being worked on in some capacity by the studio.

Earlier today, DICE LA released the official cinematic trailer for the upcoming Battlefield 4: Legacy Operations expansion. Created by the amazingly talented Hoodo_Operator, the new trailer shows off what you can expect from the remake of the Battlefield 2 classic, Dragon Valley, and includes a killer rendition of 2 PLA theme.
Veterans might recognize some familiar sights like the Pagoda and expanded Village flags, along with the return of repairable bridges. The Battlefield 3 players among you may recognize the area at the beginning of the trailer as the docks from Noshahr Canals, which is also returning as Dragon Valley's new TDM area.

Today I want to tell you guys about one of the most craziest (and possibly the best) Battlefield 4 match in my two years of playing it...
The round, which was Caspian Border 2014, started with me in a F35 jet, gunning down several enemies in aircraft and on ground. Then I jump out of my jet and I randomly get a kill after tossing an RGO Impact grenade. I was on the ground, screaming and laughing in shock and surprise. After respawning, I happen to be inside a burning AC-130, I jump out just moments before it exploded. I miracuously land on top of an enemy sniper, which gives me the idea of taunting him. As soon as he notices me, I take out my knife and I stick it to him. Then, I get jet rammed. I laughed so hard I cried. As soon a…Read more >

The fairly recent subsidary of EA DICE, Digital Illusions CE Los Angeles has long since been a support studio of both DICE and Visceral as seen in Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline ever since its founding in 2013 and with said studio's busy with Mirror's Edge and Battlefront, it could be highly likely that DICE LA will create their own Battlefield title, I mean they have been extremely successful ever since they took the helm of creating free content for Battlefield 4.
Gaming News website IGN had a recent interview with EA Studios Executive Vice President Patrick Soderlund who said, "When you start something new, sometimes it's actually good for them to test the waters, try a couple of explanation packs. You've got to have a good idea for a gr…

SuperData analyst and CEO Joost van Dreunen have released a statement pertaining to the Battlefield series supposed decline with the release of newer installments.
He stated "Even as the console user base expands, sales of each new addition to the Battlefield franchise has seen faster post-launch-month drops and digital earnings keep dropping faster," he said, noting that he sees the upcoming Star Wars shooter as a cousin of Battlefield, being "based firmly" in the franchise.
Dreunen also told of how Star Wars: Battlefront should be expected to earn Electronic arts 200 to 800 million on low to high ends in revenue though this will remain to be seen due to the many other highly anticipated titles that are set to be released this year.

Visceral and EA have FINALLY acknowledged the persistent Loadout reset glitch in Battlefield Hardline. Right now its so bad that class loadouts will reset after each and every round, requiring re-customization for each match. It should be noted that the glitch does not affect a small percentage of players. Luckily though Visceral is working for a solution as we speak through they have yet to announce when the next patch will be released. Considering the fact that the Robbery expansion was just released, it may take Visceral longer to find the cause of the glitch as there are now many new factors to consider.

After my little trip to Chicago Wizard World 2015 a few weeks ago I have a list of my top 5 moments from the show as well as what I learned during my stay.

What was better about the Photo Op we did was that Bruce Campbell and his body guards strolled on by our line to meet Amell and started playfully cracking jokes about him. To top it off I also got front row seats to panel where he talked about his awesome show Arrow as well as his role in TMNT 2 and of course Summerslam 2015, all of which I am an avid fan of.
I absolutely love this guy. I attended his panels for his game show The Last Fan Standing and for the Ash vs…

Anyone ever notice that the Battlefield FIM-92 Stinger model reads "Tracking Rainer" on the side? Well did you know that the real Stinger used by the US Military actually reads "Tracking Trainer".

The finding of these stingers suggested that the United States was supplying Ukraine with weapons. This was further proven by propaganda videos that the rebels had produced.
It wasn't until the internet discovered the numerous inaccuracies the Stinger held such as reading "Tracking Rainer" on the side! Eventually someone put the two and two together that the Stingers where actually fakes modeled …

According to Tweak Town, who had an inside industry source, EA will possibly unviel the previous announced Battlefield (2016) during their press conference at E3 2015.
While many (including myself) are looking forward to this, it probably would be more likely for it to appear during E3 2016 next year as it was stated to release a bit afterward and because Battlefield Hardline released almost 3 months ago. It could still happen, though, as it is currently known that EA will have Star Wars: Battlefront, Mirror's Edge 2, etc. and possibly Mass Effect 4 and Visceral's Star Wars game as well as others.

Squad Conquest is a new gamemode that has been added to Battlefield 4 in the Community Test Environment and is currently in testing phase. Youtuber Westie has the breakdown of the mode in this video but I have managed to sum it up below.
Squad Conquest is a variation of Conquest Assault. As the name implies, the gamemode pits two opposing squads of five players against one another as they try to capture and hold all flags until tickets have been reduced to zero. Similar to Conquest Assault, defenders start with control of all flags while attackers on the other hand hold none. Upon losing control of all flags, the defenders are unable to respawn and lose the match by default if all players have been killed.

Visceral is looking to releases a bunch of changes to Battlefield Hardline in the upcoming 1.1 Patch. It address bug fixes and balancing and most importantly a huge nerf to The American Dream couch. See details below.
The patch will reduce the effectiveness of the multiplayer shooter's deadly couch Easter egg. Apparently, the couch was actually proving to be reliably useful to some players, and not a throwaway joke vehicle as Visceral had intended.
"Couch health reduced and repair rate decreased to a miniscule amount, making the Couch the one-off it was intended."
The couch spawns in one of several different locations, but only a single time per round--once it's been destroyed, it's gone until the next game begins. However, it can be repaired.

The Dino and Wolf Masks are gadgets featured in Battlefield Hardline that offer only visual benifits. They are unlocked upon completing the Cash Hoarder 3 assignment which requires players to have 10 Milliom dollars of cash at once, NOT ACCUMULATIVE.
The masks themselves dont cost 10 Million, you just need to money to complete the assignment and unlock them for free.
Considering the amount of time it would take to save that money up, it would be viable to play Hotwire as it rewards large amounts of cash in a short amount of time.
Visceral stated that more Masks would be available in the future, meaning it would be up to players to discover how to unlock them.
