One of the odd things I find about Battlefield 1 is that there isn't an Infantry variant of the M1903 Springfield in multiplayer, I find this odd because there's an Infantry variant of every other scout rifle, and an Infantry variant of the Springfield actually appears in the single player mission Storm of Steel, anyone have any theories as to why the Infantry variant of the Springfield doesn't appear in multiplayer?Read more >

Hey, so I just made a wiki account just to post this on my blog because I felt the need to share this! This is my theory for Battlefield 2142, Bad Company 1, 2, Battlefield 3 and 4's single player and multiplayer stories. My goal through this is to connect the stories of all these games and fill in as many plot holes as possible as I go. I don’t know about you guys but I enjoy stories a lot more when I have some idea of what the hell is going on in them. DICE’s stories for Battlefield 3 and 4, especially in the single player storyline of 4 and in the multiplayer of both games, are confusing and plot hole ridden at best. So I decided to fill in some of these holes, and along the way, realized that Bad Company 1, 2 and 2142 fit in perfectly.…Read more >

Bridging the gap between the Bomber and the Airship L30 Behemoth is the four-engine Heavy Bomber, the Heavy Bomber is much more armed than the standard Bomber, and also contains much more bombs, a Heavy Bomber is a more difficult target for a fighter pilot to take on.
Potential Heavy Bombers:

Here are my ideas for some interesting WW1 weapons for Battlefield 1. Some of them may or may not appear later as DLC, but well. Here we go:
The Fedorov Avtomat may be considered to be the "first practical assault rifle". It is a unique weapon and it was way ahead of its time. Although, it was used mainly in the Russian Civil War, it actually saw some service during WW1. It was very exotic weapon and too few numbers of it were produced to be used widely, however that is the case with the MP 18 also. Gonna be interesting to fight with the most primitive assault rifle in the history.
The BAR is already a well represented weapon in gaming and media. It is featured in every single WW2 game, however, the thing is this weapon originated…

EA has announced today that the next Battlefield will be released in Fiscal year 2017 along with Titanfall 2 and Mass Effect: Andromeda.

DICE has kept a close lid on the game, even refusing to answer fan questions outright on social media sights. Today I want to tell you guys about one of the most craziest (and possibly the best) Battlefield 4 match in my two years of playing it...
The round, which was Caspian Border 2014, started with me in a F35 jet, gunning down several enemies in aircraft and on ground. Then I jump out of my jet and I randomly get a kill after tossing an RGO Impact grenade. I was on the ground, screaming and laughing in shock and surprise. After respawning, I happen to be inside a burning AC-130, I jump out just moments before it exploded. I miracuously land on top of an enemy sniper, which gives me the idea of taunting him. As soon as he notices me, I take out my knife and I stick it to him. Then, I get jet rammed. I laughed so hard I cried. As soon a…Read more >

The fairly recent subsidary of EA DICE, Digital Illusions CE Los Angeles has long since been a support studio of both DICE and Visceral as seen in Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline ever since its founding in 2013 and with said studio's busy with Mirror's Edge and Battlefront, it could be highly likely that DICE LA will create their own Battlefield title, I mean they have been extremely successful ever since they took the helm of creating free content for Battlefield 4.

SuperData analyst and CEO Joost van Dreunen have released a statement pertaining to the Battlefield series supposed decline with the release of newer installments.
He stated "Even as the console user base expands, sales of each new addition to the Battlefield franchise has seen faster post-launch-month drops and digital earnings keep dropping faster," he said, noting that he sees the upcoming Star Wars shooter as a cousin of Battlefield, being "based firmly" in the franchise.
Dreunen also told of how Star Wars: Battlefront should be expected to earn Electronic arts 200 to 800 million on low to high ends in revenue though this will remain to be seen due to the many other highly anticipated titles that are set to be released this year.

After my little trip to Chicago Wizard World 2015 a few weeks ago I have a list of my top 5 moments from the show as well as what I learned during my stay.

According to Tweak Town, who had an inside industry source, EA will possibly unviel the previous announced Battlefield (2016) during their press conference at E3 2015.

Squad Conquest is a new gamemode that has been added to Battlefield 4 in the Community Test Environment and is currently in testing phase. Youtuber Westie has the breakdown of the mode in this video but I have managed to sum it up below.
Squad Conquest is a variation of Conquest Assault. As the name implies, the gamemode pits two opposing squads of five players against one another as they try to capture and hold all flags until tickets have been reduced to zero. Similar to Conquest Assault, defenders start with control of all flags while attackers on the other hand hold none. Upon losing control of all flags, the defenders are unable to respawn and lose the match by default if all players have been killed.
While the mode features three normal …
