Cei-Rigott IRL

A Cei-Rigotti in reality

The Cei-Rigotti is a semi-automatic rifle designed in Italy before the turn of the 20th century. The weapon is known to have select-fire capabilities (single-shot and burst) and be gas operated, and was reportedly tested by both the Italian and British army before World War I, but information regarding the weapon and its history is notably sparse and contradictory.

Battlefield 1Edit

"An Italian automatic rifle from the late 19th century. Features both automatic and semi-automatic fire"
— In-game description

Two variants of the Cei-Rigotti are featured in Battlefield 1 for the Medic kit.

It features balanced stats compared to other semi-auto rifles, and offers a selectable automatic fire mode. The 6.5×52mm Carcano ammunition features a rounded nose, offering less range than pointed spitzer nose increasingly used in modern weapons. The Cei-Rigotti reloads using 5-round clips.

It was first seen during the gameplay trailer released during the EA Play livestream.

Cei-Rigotti FactoryEdit

The Cei-Rigotti Factory variant is the first main weapon available for Medic class. Its only attachment is a bayonet.

Cei-Rigotti ArtilleryEdit

The Cei-Rigotti Artillery variant comes equipped with a magnified leaf sight and a bayonet, offering improved performance at medium range.
