EXPL is a specialization in Battlefield 3 that gives the user an EOD vest that increases the total amount of explosive ammunition and gadgets.

It doubles the carrying capacity of explosives. For example, an Engineer would carry eight rockets as opposed to four for the SMAW or RPG-7V2 while a Support would carry six packets of C4 as opposed to three.

Note: FRAG increases the carrying capacity of grenades and M320 rounds, not EXPL.

The solo specialization is unlocked at rank 11, while the squad specialization is awarded at rank 31.
