Amr-2-IRL

An AMR-2 in reality

The AMR-2 (Anti Materiel Rifle - 2) is a 12.7x108mm anti-materiel sniper rifle developed by China South Industries Group for the People's Liberation Army in the early 2000s. It was one of several designs evaluated by the PLA while searching for a modern anti-materiel rifle to supplement its forces, and is believed to currently be in use with Chinese Special Forces. The rifle is of conventional design with a manually operated rotary bolt and a free floating barrel with a very large double baffle muzzle brake to reduce recoil.

The AMR-2 appears in Battlefield 4 as a Sniper Rifle Battle Pickup.

Battlefield 4[]

The AMR-2 is a weapon featured in Battlefield 4 as a Battle Pickup. It deals enough damage to inflict an instant kill at any range, but lacks the semi-automatic firing mode and higher capacity of the M82A3.

The AMR-2 is equipped with a Hunter (20x) scope with Variable Zoom (8×), the AMR-2 MID is equipped with a CL6x scope, while the AMR-2 CQB is fitted with a PRISMA (3.4x) sight. All three variants also have a Range Finder, Bipod and Muzzle Brake.
