The 9K32 “Strela-2” (NATO reporting name: SA-7 Grail) is a is a man-portable, shoulder-fired, low-altitude surface-to-air missile system with a high explosive warhead and a passive infrared homing guidance setup. The SA-7 is featured as the anti-vehicle weapon in Battlefield Vietnam.

In Battlefield Vietnam, the SA-7 is issued as an option for the Heavy Assault of the NVA and Viet Cong factions. It has one rocket loaded and two in reserve. It is mainly an anti-air weapon, as its specific purpose is against aerial targets like helicopters and jets, because it tracks on to air vehicles and follows them for a short amount of time. Most jets are destroyed with two shots from an SA-7, whilst most helicopters take three rockets. The SA-7 can also be quite effective against tanks, and has a similar performance to the LAW, but since it has only a total of 3 rockets, one should limit themselves from attacking such resistant targets if they wish to keep their ammunition supply steady. It is also surprisingly effective against stationary infantry, even at very long ranges, as the missile travels in a straight line, meaning the missile will hit where you aim, unless it is distracted by aircraft. The only problem is its size makes it the primary weapon, leaving only TNT and a TT-33 pistol as the anti-infantry weapons.
