I was just thinking of how comparatively barren our country-related articles are when pitted against the likes of some of our vehicle and weapon pages. My opinion is that we should create a specific type of layout for each country/faction, as well as a brief IRL history of said country/faction.
Problem is, I was trying to do this for the France page, and the resulting intro took up about 3/4ths of the page -- in a very condensed format that I barely felt comfortable labeling as a true history. So I scrapped it and put it off for a later date.
So my thought is:
- Intro
- First game
- Subservient factions with information
- Equipment and vehicles used by each faction
- Maps the nation appears on, with brief descriptions of their starting conditions and special traits (ie, if a faction-unique item or event occurs)
- Subservient factions with information
- Second game
- Trivia
etc. Thoughts? Юра

Good system flow, but i would put it like this for the first game. The faction information and Equipment should be in different sub headings.
- First game
- Subservient factions with information
- Maps the nation appears on, with brief descriptions of their starting conditions and special traits (ie, if a faction-unique item or event occurs)
- Equipment and vehicles used by each faction\

- The current US page seems to be mostly like what this is proposing, just with a lack of images. Should we try to emulate that for the other countries?
- The maps could also use a description like you said, as well as the preview images of them off to the side, or in a gallery afterwards. And the equipment may be able to be listed in a navbox-like template after the Armed Forces, or perhaps as a list with images of some notable ones off to the side. I could take any we need for BC2 or BF3 as well, or search for screen-shots without watermarks.

- Well it's better than the France page, if only marginally, but I think it could have some better organization, and the intro is lacking a lot. Юра

- I'll make an example soon, but I'm going to do the article from the ground-up, not alter the old article. It's too difficult to do it any other way. Юра
