Greetings. Recently, we've managed to sort out all the current colours hilites and we are now currently settling in to them. However, I think there is still a tiny bit more to be done. We currently have colours for local rights such as sysops and bureaucrats, as well as trusted users; however, we do not have colours for universal rights such as the VSTF, Wikia Helpers or Staff. I believe that giving these groups identification can only be a good thing. Also, seeing as it is universal, it will be very easy to port over the user lists.
The only issue remains in the colours we decide to use. Seeing as pink been proven to work, but is not currently in use, that we can use pink for one of the groups. This leaves two groups to think of colours for and then which colour for which group. I would also suggest cyan (#66AAFF) and light purple (#9B30FF) as two posssible other colours. Thoughts? They don't appear up on the Wiki frequently, they are properly identified on their profile is needed, and certainly they're counting on us to take care of the newcomers here. The purposes of the name hilites are for newcomers have a reference to ask for help. Therefor, I find highliting Staff, Helpers and the VSTF a bit useless... - Pedro9basket (talk) [ ] 15:24, April 1, 2012 (UTC)
Saying that Sysops and Bureaucrats are also properly identified on their userpages. It doesn't matter on the regularity, the whole idea of hilite is to identify users with tools to fix problems quickly and effectively. Sometimes these issues are urgent, and you just never know when it will be needed. TheDocRichtofen (Talk) 22:08, April 1, 2012 (UTC)
