How do you fire the Javelin in top down mode?
A) You have to use the SOFLAM. A Recon-class soldier gets this piece of equipment, which laser designates targets. When the target has been designated, an Engineer can then use the Javelin to fire a 'top-down' missile.

- I don't know, the lock is lost pretty quickly, and thumbsticks aren't that handy for snapping the launcher up like that. Th3 razor 17:02, November 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Give the controllers some credit :p You can still do it with the thumbsticks, even on lowest settings. I haven't tried waiting to fire untill looking STRAIGHT up, but I've done it to about 70+ degrees up, 90 being straight. Jabberwockxeno 00:03, November 14, 2011 (UTC)
