Hey guys! Maxwell123 raised a point in another forum which I believe should be explored and utilised. What Maxwell essentially proposed was a promotional video for the wiki, which would surely bring in more activity and help keep the wiki going.
I actually think a promotion video would be a great idea. I know in previous experiences that it has been a success (here). While that only got 4,000 views, it was on a new channel. We here currently have a platform with a well established channel that we can use. I firmly believe that it would be a good idea. Views here are rising every month, slowly but surely. However, I've done some comparisons, are highest every is September 2009 for the Call of Duty Wiki with about 4,000 edits in a month. If we want to have edit counts anywhere near the size of the big wikis, we must advertise. Thoughts? TheDocRichtofen (Talk) 10:05, April 11, 2012 (UTC)

- Well I suppose this is kind of to help decide. Watch the COD Wiki's promo video, as it will provide a good template to use. If we decided that the format is one that we would like to adopt, we would just have to change over all the wiki-specific information. TheDocRichtofen (Talk) 18:43, April 11, 2012 (UTC)
- Per Doc - since those users above me is either british or american i suggest people with native english language for the voice part. For the video style yeah if we do somewhat in the same way as the COD example video. Maxwell123 19:09, April 11, 2012 (UTC)
