G4M 701st Kokutai Ohka

The G4M Betty in real life.

The Mitsubishi G4M was the main twin-engine, land-based bomber used by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service during World War II. It designed by Mitsubishi in 1939, entered service in 1941 and saw use until the end of the war. There were exactly 2,435 units made. Allied forces gave it the codename "Betty".

Main article: Bomber

The Mitsubishi G4M is a vehicle featured in Battlefield 1943 and is the IJN Bomber. When a player on the IJN faction enters the Air Raid Bunker, a squadron of three Mitsubishi G4Ms is sent to bomb the target area. They have poor maneuverability and are quite slow, though they are well-armored, making it difficult for most players to destroy all three before they can release their bombs.

The B-25 Mitchell is the USMC's in-game equivalent to the Betty.

Contrary to many sources. The Japanese bomber in 1943 is the Kawasaki Ki-21-IIb variant with a turret in the rear.
