Hotel Alpha is the thirteenth mission in the singleplayer campaign of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat.

Description[]

So they've just destroyed Kazakhstan's only oil refinery - that's why we have to win this war. Okay, this will be a long-range, short-stay reconnaissance mission with focus on the four areas marked on your TAC map. Eyeball the area thoroughly for enemy order-of-battle information and collect any documents for G-2 analysis. If something develops in the town, add it to the mission. Conduct your pre-patrols and launch when ready.

Synopsis[]

The mission is played from the viewpoint of NATO. The player must drive a Desert Patrol Vehicle to four areas occupied by the PLA in 10 minutes in order to conduct surveillance on each area. Once recon on all four areas are done, the player must then recon a fifth and final site at a PLA-held town. After that objective is done, the player must head back to where they started. If that is done, then the mission is complete.

Stars[]

To achieve a full 10-star rating, the player will need to complete the following milestones by the end of the mission:

  • Score: 40,000 points or more
  • Time: Completion in under six minutes
  • Style/Weapon Use (amount of hot-swapping): Expert (about 5 hot-swaps)
  • Accuracy: Greater than 25% shots hit
  • Losses: Less than three soldiers on the player's team died
