The Kübelwagen, short for Kübelsitzwagen which in English literally means "bucket-seat car" was the primary German military car in the 1930s used by the German military.
Battlefield 1942
Edit
In Battlefield 1942, the Kübelwagen is shown as a greyish-blue colour with a Balkenkreuz on the sides or an Italian flag in Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome. Seating 2 players, it is issued to German, Japanese (prior to replacement by the Type 95 Kurogane in a patch) and Italian (in Road to Rome) forces. While in Battlefield 1942 and Road to Rome the Kübelwagen is unarmed, in Battlefield 1942 Secret Weapons of WWII the car has an MG42 mounted on a tripod in the back of the car bringing the total number of occupants to 3.
