MP 40 is a weapon featured in and is issued to the Battlefield 1942 Wehrmacht and Afrika Korps Medic kits. It has a good rate of fire, medium damage, low recoil and low accuracy. It remains a very effective close-quarters weapon, but it is relatively ineffective at long ranges as its accuracy deteriorates quickly; even going prone and firing in bursts will frequently result in wasting ammo.
