In Battlefield Play4Free, mortar strike combat awareness is a tier 1 combat expertise training option available for the Assault, Medic and Engineer kits. It causes a mortar strike to appear as a "tactical icon"
Overview
It allow players to be aware of enemy mortar strikes, allowing them to evacuate the area.
Its efficiency seems to be limited as it only counters a Recon kit specific gadget, but spending points in this option could be a good idea for players who intend to obtain the Avoid Tripwire combat expertise.
