Persian Gulf, The Middle East
"This vital entrance to the Persian Gulf is held by local MEC forces who have established a strong defensive presence on the scattered islands of the waterway. For the US Rapid Deployment force to clear the waterway they must first deploy air assets to disable a key MEC power station, after which the US force must enter the channel and capture the islands defended by these determined MEC fighters."
- This is the only map to feature pilotable fighter jets in Singleplayer mode, other maps have only choppers.
- AI pilots that fly the F-15/SU-34 are quite incompetent sometimes, often going out of bounds of the map. Although they usually come in before the Out of Bounds Punishment, some of them will not. This is one of the basic AI code problem present in BF2 attack jets. Hence the problem if the player is positioned at the second-seat of the mentioned planes above then they will always be sure to check whether if the piloting bot is doing something wrong or not. If so, hijack his seat by clicking F1 and set a plane's course back to the battlefield.
- Any AI in the UH-60 Black Hawk (except pilot obviously) will jump out of the Black Hawk when arriving at the first MEC position. Till it is captured, the Black Hawk (if piloted by AI) will move to and fro, like doing some dance in the air. This is also basic AI code set for utilizing the any sort of transport choppers.
- No attack choppers are featured in Singleplayer mode.
