Talk0this wiki

Added by PresidentEden78The PP-19 "Bizon" is a 9mm submachine gun developed in the early 1990s at Izhmash. It is used by the MEC in Battlefield 2, and is featured in the Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand DLC.

Edit
In Battlefield 2, the PP-19 is issued to the MEC Anti-Tank Kit. It is very similar to the MP5, with the exception of the additional 15 rounds to each magazine. This gives the PP-19 a slight advantage over the other submachine guns.

Main weapon |
The PP-19 comes in the Back to Karkand expansion along with 9 other weapons. It has a 54 + 1 round magazine despite the game saying otherwise, and requires the player to capture 10 flags, arm 10 M-COM stations and play 2 hours in Strike at Karkand.
It has a fairly long reload time for a PDW, and due to its very low damage at range, is highly inneffective at longer ranges when used without a zoom sight. Its high rate of fire, large magazine and low recoil makes it highly effective at shorter ranges, however.

Trivia
Edit
- The helical magazine seen in the Battlefield series holds 64 (9x18mm) or 53 (9x19mm) rounds in real life, instead of the magazine size of its depictions in the Battlefield series.
- On Battlefield Play4Free the PP-19 Bizon is called the PP-19 Bison.
