The Raft is a naval vehicle in Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII. It is used by the Canadian Army, Wehrmacht, United States Marine Corps and British SAS. Its primary use is transportation of troops over water on the battlefield.

Battlefield 1942Edit

In Battlefield 1942, the raft is a small, inflatable, engine powered naval vehicle for driver and a passenger; no passengers can use weapons. It appears in Liberation of Caen at the flag close to the river.The Raft also appears in Invasion of the Philippines when a torpedo boat is sunk it will pop up allowing any alive players to get to shore quickly. Each team has identical rafts.

Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWIIEdit

In Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII, the raft is slightly bigger and twice as fast. The vehicle has capacity for the driver, two passengers and one gunner on the front. It is used by the British SAS and United States Army. It is seen in Peenemunde and Operation Telemark.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2Edit

In Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the raft makes a minor appearance in the mission Operation Aurora. It is used by the Able and Bravo Squads to make a stealthy insertion onto the beach. Bravo Squad is forced to abandon their raft after they get compromised and Able Squad is killed off. Even though Thomas Wyatt controls the engine for the raft, the player does not get to actually maneuver it.
