"Modern semi-automatic shotgun, featuring a standard box magazine that allows for much faster reloading compared to standard tubular magazines, where shells need to be loaded one by one."

— In game description.

The SPAS15 is a semi-automatic shotgun featured in Battlefield: Bad Company.

Singleplayer[]

The SPAS15 can be found during the final mission, and is used by a single Legionnaire Mercenary shortly before the fight with the Legionnaire.

Multiplayer[]

The SPAS15 is issued to the Demolition kit. It is unlocked once a player reaches level 25, or if one purchased the Gold Edition of the game, with which is unlocked as soon as one begins playing multiplayer. It has an 8-shell magazine. It has a fairly high rate of fire balanced out by moderate damage. It takes around 3 shots to kill, but its efficiency deteriorates drastically at longer ranges.

It is the only semi-automatic shotgun available to the US and MEC, and compared to the Russian S20K, the SPAS15 inflicts more damage but fires slightly slower and is less accurate. On the other hand, the SPAS15 is cappable of firing just as fast as the fully automatic USAS12, but the USAS is much more accurate and does more damage up close, but it is less effective at range than the SPAS15.

The SPAS-15 is a weapon that was originally featured in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It was available for use in the PlayStation 3 beta but was cut from the final release of the game.

BattlefPlay4Free[]

The SPAS-15 is a weapon featured in Battlefield Play4Free as a buyable weapon through the in-game store for 980 P4F Funds for unlimited use. It remains semi-automatic and comes with a 14 rounds magazine, good damage, accuracy and moderate rate of fire. The weapon has a very clean appearance, like all of the elite weapons, and sports a tan paint scheme on the pistol grip and handguard.

The SPAS-15 is very similar to the Saiga-12 and the USAS-12: even if it has slightly less close range damage, it does more damage at medium to long range, making it a wonderful choice for more open maps.
