The ZSU-23-4 in real life, in a USMC training exercise at Camp Pendleton, CA.

The ZSU-23-4 "Shilka" (Russian: Зенитная Самоходная Установка; English: Zenitnaya Samokhodnaya Ustanovka) is a Russian radar-guided self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle named after the Shilka River that runs to the southeast coast of Russia into the Sea of Okhotsk. Its sound when it fires gave it a nickname of the "sewing machine" among troops of the Polish Army, which was also a play on its name as "shic", a similar word, means "to sew" in Russian. It is armed with four 2A7 23mm autocannons and has up to 15mm thick of steel plate armor at the front, with 9.2mm thick armor on the turret.

It is featured in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat as the Middle Eastern Coalition's mobile anti-aircraft gun.

In Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, the ZSU-23-4 Shilka is the self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery weapon for the Middle Eastern Coalition. It is armed with four 23mm autocannons to tear apart any helicopter in its sights, making it a major threat to the US Army AH-64, as well as enemy infantry out in the open. The Shilka can also fare well against light vehicles such as the DPV and HMMWV. However, the M1A2 Abrams and M6 Linebacker have the advantage over the Shilka, as its 23mm cannons cannot penetrate their armor.
