Hey, if you (I'm speaking mainly to PresidentEden, but I suppose it goes for anyone) are adding weapons to this page, please also make sure that the weapon is in Category:Assault Rifles. I initially populated this page (and Machine gun, Sniper rifle, etc.) by looking at the respective category pages. If a weapon does not appear listed on the appropriate page, then it wasn't in the appropriate category at the time of the page's creation. Son of a Magnet 16:42, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

Weapon classes[]
I think it's time to clean up the weapon class articles, such as Assault rifle. My current opinion is that tables of class "article-table" give a good balance of organization and customization, and blend well into the overall page design, while also allowing for images if this route is ever pursued.
Navboxes have a nice, compact design, but are completely ignored on mobile. At present they also have a lot of inline styling that makes it impossible to have a uniform yet maintainable look. These will need to be addressed in the future.
I also recommend putting these articles in Category:Weapons of Battlefield instead of their own weapon category pages (these should only have a Template:Main link, or be worked into the category description), a brief comparison (as in Carbine, but lower headers), and limited notes for each game. — Nayhem (talk) 21:51, November 13, 2017 (UTC)
- I think tables are good. I also want to note that because these pages are technically long disambiguations, we should be including all weapons of this type on the page, including both the ones as classified in-game and ones that people consider to be so in real life.
