British English?[]

If you look at the map, the name of the South Western outpost is specifically spelt Coastal defences, not Coastal defenses. Is this dependent on which version the map is taken from or is it like this all of the time? - Bondpedia (Contact) [ User of the Month: July 2010 Administrator and Bureaucrat Veteran ] 16:17, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

Lemme give it a look. On another note, I've never played this map on multiplayer, but holy crap it looks epic. SSDGFCTCT9(Talk) AdminRibbon UserMonthRibbon AwardRibbon 800px-Template Ribbon 16:25, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

You seem perplexed. SSDGFCTCT9(Talk) AdminRibbon UserMonthRibbon AwardRibbon 800px-Template Ribbon 18:44, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

Out of interest, which of British and American English is most common in Canada? - Bondpedia (Contact) [ User of the Month: July 2010 Administrator and Bureaucrat Veteran ] 18:59, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

It's interesting. Officially, Canadian English more so follows British writing. For example: Criticising, as opposed to Criticizing; Grey, as opposed to Gray; Colour, as opposed to Color, etc. However, since Canada has been influenced so much by American English, both ways are accepted. As well, we use American expressions. Cookies, as opposed to Biscuits, and so on. In our case here, Defences would be considered just as correct as Defenses. Through personal experience, I'd say American English is more common as most people consider it simpler.
