Sorry, but the SCAR-L is not a carbine under any circumstances, it's an assault rifle. The only reason the SCAR-H is considered a carbine is because it's the short-barrel CQC variant. I'm editing the page and will place the SCAR-L in the Assault rifles category. If you disagree, move it back, but only and only after showing me the source of your certainty. But what if it's the SCAR-L CQB Varient...or is there one?
2. The Scar-L has always been a carbine in Battlefield games; Battlefield 2, Bad Company, & Bad Company 2. Play4Free might be the one exception, but it doesn't even have a carbine category. OmgHAX! 18:09, April 9, 2012 (UTC)
Oh and can someone please get the video and put it on this page? Not just a link but the actual vid. 209.66.200.152 21:05, March 14, 2012 (UTC)
I don't care how rediculous it sounds but they should have brought a sniper rifle into this DLC. It should have been the Vinrorez or whatever that lame-ass weak gun from the earlier games was. It should be like a CQB sniper rifle. It would have a 25+1 Magazine, semi-automatic, dealing 30-25 Damage with the 2.0 multiplier to the head and the .9 to the legs. That would mean that at close range it would take four body shots as well as at long range unless two hit the head or some hit the legs. It would be dealing two hit headshots like all the other semi-automatics and the extra 5-6 rounds would be countered by the close range damage of 30 instead of the SKS's 34. Who agrees? The VSS, weak and lame?
I think you were playing a different game, my friend. Йура 00:06, March 15, 2012 (UTC)
Doesn't it do like 25 or something damage in one of the previous games? Yeah, I call that weak and lame. 66.75.12.213 00:55, March 15, 2012 (UTC)
25-20, full-auto, and can outdo all of the ARs and SMGs at mid-close range, especially with the magnum ammo spec. Йура 00:57, March 15, 2012 (UTC)
I thought it was semi-automatic...still as a Sniper rifle it sucks as a weapon it may be good. XboxHat 02:30, March 15, 2012 (UTC)
I've been reading a lot of places that the M417 (sniper rifle) and MP5k (pistol, sometimes written as "M5k") were seen in use in the trailer. Should these be added to the list? Skullvondude 03:59, March 29, 2012 (UTC)
No. Its speculation.--SlopijoeHangars 05:50, March 29, 2012 (UTC)
also the m417 has been mentioned alot so i think thats true but the mp5k one isnt a machine pistol its an smg or in this case a pdw so it would be the missing pdw i hate the say it but the mtar isnt a pdw its a carbine or at least a assault rifle.71.213.246.52 07:55, March 29, 2012 (UTC)
Just because its mentioned alot doesnt mean its true, Ex: MP5 in BtK. never happened.--
Yes, but wasn't the MP5 in B2K only "confirmed" by it being sighted in the trailer? It does look very similar to the G53 Carbine, which was included. Skullvondude 10:46, March 29, 2012 (UTC)
Truthfully the MP5k is only found in other games such as MW2 and Cod4 whatever makes you think they'll add call of duty weapons to bf3 would be a different story.Dan67 13:29, March 29, 2012 (UTC)
Look, just watch the vid and focus on the damn killfeed. And if it's in the killfeed, slap it on the page. And Dan67, BF3 already has plenty of CoD weapons, not that there's anything wrong with that. --Delta1138SnooPING AS usual I see 16:53, March 29, 2012 (UTC)

Shouldn't the "Five unique Dogtags" be changed to Twenty-Five unique dogtags? Each of the ten new weapons would have two dogtags associated with them. THE Ʀооⱪιε 18:06, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
