I started playing FPS with Halo: Combat Evolved (back in the time where Internet sounded like magic!), one of those games I'll never let go, any time. Followed by Halo 2, got a bit disappointed with the lack of work on the single player compared with the first one.
First online game was years later, with the first Call of Duty. Still play the first one, and on a clan in it! (don't have that much time anymore though, which is quite sad in my eyes). I got pretty good at it, but it lost its legacy as it supposedly evolved. It no longer felt like a team-based game the first did; just some kind of kindergarten filled with kids trying to make useless trickshots. Later then I found Battlefield and here I am.
Even though I always looked for team-based game, Battlefield was one of those games which its learning curve is beyond people can think of. Starting with its basics on BF1942, it evolved from time to time and you may get lost on all kind of gadgets and tem-play techniques and tactics it comes on its way!
One way or another, I passed the curve and started to progress as a Battlefield player. My first Battlefield game I've chosen ended up being Battlefield 2142, and I'm not feeling like ever regret that choice. While at first glance looks pretty sci-fi from the trailers, what you'll witness is probably the most focused and balanced Battlefield game to date. After you learn the game's basics, you'll have unforgettable experiences, especially on Titan mode, which the type of successful teamwork you get ongoing deep inside the enemy team's core will probably never go away. Wise players, they were, and I still get to play it when I have my time!
