Warning: Only EA or DICE-confirmed details on this game are permitted at the moment. Anything coming from the Battlelog source code will be removed because it counts as a leak.

Battlefield Hardline has been confirmed by EA to come out this Fall. The game will be unveiled on June 9th during EA's E3 2014 Conference at 12:00 PM PDT.

The news comes after the game's assets have been discovered in Battlelog's code, revealing the logo of the game and some of its weapons, gadgets, attachments, vehicles, ribbons, medals, new game modes, and factions.

The game itself will be developed by Visceral Games (formerly EA Redwood Shores), who are well known for making the Dead Space games. This would mean that DICE is not working on the game, most likely due to their attention being focused on the development of Star Wars: Battlefront and Mirror's Edge 2.

Battlefield: Hardline places its focus on a "cops and robbers" theme, in which the game will feature law enforcement officials going head-to-head against criminals instead of rival militaries fighting each other like in the previous Battlefield games.
