DICE released some new images today on Battlefield 3's free DLC with a pre-order, Back to Karkand. The map pack features four retro Battlefield maps, Strike at Karkand, Sharqi Peninsula, Gulf of Oman, and Wake Island. Each of these maps has been re-envisioned with the Frostbite 2 engine, while retaining as much of their original features as possible.
The pack will also include Battlefield 2 weapons, vehicles, and unique rewards and achievements/trophies.
It was also clarified that Back to Karkand will be available to those who do not pre-order Battlefield 3.
