DICE will be using ANT animation technology differently in singleplayer and multiplayer.

Recently in an interview with Edge Magainze, DICE's Lars Gustavsson had this to say on their use of player and AI animations:

"In multiplayer, we do an additional pass for animation. In singleplayer, you don’t mind if a guard up on a balcony does a Hollywood death – stumbling around a bit before falling over. In multiplayer it needs to be a one-to-one correlation between action and result."

We can infer that multiplayer's animations will be even more realistic than the ones we've seen in the singleplayer campaign.
