EA and DICE are launching a "Community Test Platform" to get more direct feedback from as many players as possible.
The Community Test Platform is launching today, and will originally be available to Battlefield 4 Premium members only. It is an exclusive for PC players. It is unknown at this time wether the CTE will be expanded to console as well.
Once signed up, players will download a second, seperate game client, different from the retail client. This will serve as a beta test platform of sorts.
Some of the priorities include:
- BF4s netcode.
- Tweaking the "tickrate" severs.
- Work on the network in general.
Hopefully, this can help improve the damage registration of BF4.
Comment on what you think of the CTE!Read more >
I apologise for not being active on this wiki for a while. I have recently become active again on wikia after a month or so, and have been editing on the Call of Duty Wiki. I'll begin editing and helping out to add to and maintain this wiki.
I will also do the news again, and since Awyman has announced that he is leaving the wiki in July, I'll try to do the news in his place (He was the only one doing it).
Thanks for reading.Read more >
A patch for the PC version of Battlefield 4 was recently released. This patch should fix chronic crashes and many other minor problems.
The patch also solves issues with camera issues while crouching, vehicle issues on specific maps, a bug that changes victory conditions in Defuse mode and corrupt save files.

This is a list of important tasks I think need to be done since the release of Battlefield 4:
- First Person and Iron Sight images for all BF4 articles. (25% - 40% done)
- More information about each weapon for their page or section in the article, etc Multiplayer information.
- Get the community up and running again.
I will cross each task off once they have been accomplished.
Have any suggestions of tasks I can add to the list?Read more >
