Apparently all you UK guys are lucky. On Battlefields official UK website, they have released some Naval Strike details. Some of the key features are listed below...

And I saved the best for last... They are bringing back TITAN MODE Renamed Carrier Assault it will be just like 2142 except instead of a Titan it will be an aircraft carrier
Everyone knows that BF3 lasted well over the normal life cycle of a multiplayer game (1 - 1.5 years). However, I do not feel BF4 will do the same. I have some evidence.
- EA always wants to compete with CoD....
- There are rumors that a Battlefield spin off will be launched by a studio OTHER THAN DICE in EAs fiscal year of 2015 (aka a fall release)
- The last bonus that Premium members get is 2XP....on October 27, 2014. Battlefield 3 was released on October 25, 2011, and Battlefield 4 was released on October 29th, 2013. (North American Launch)
Now the last one may not seem alarming but think about it.... its around the launch date of BF3 and BF4. What better way than to end BF4 than with a 2XP event? I may be crazy but didnt they do the same with BF…Read more >
CVG talked to SCEA’s marketing VP John Koller. They brought up Battlefield 4′s really really really really really bad launch, They asked what Sony, who launched the PlayStation 4 two months ago, thinks of the bad launch of BF4.
“Let me answer this higher above Battlefield 4 because it’s not fair, I think, to focus just on that, but in general, when these kinds of situations occur we work very closely with the publisher. I’m not saying that’s happening specifically with Battlefield but in general when there’s network issues or any issues related to gameplay we work very closely, because it reflects on the platform as well. We want it solved just like the publisher wants it solved so we generally work together.” - Koller
What do you think of S…

Ok so heres the deal with the maps. I found a page that has the flag letter A,B,C, etc. and what spawns there. Since I already have 50+ hours on BF4, I can remember what the maps look like fairly easy. Here's when the problem comes in. If a flag isn't already named (ex Shantytown is the name for C on Flood Zone) I need people to put names. And if someone could put in the last gen map version info that would be great too. I am going to use the chart like the one on Goldmug Railway to list out flags for each version, but seeing as I do not own a PS3 version I do not know which flag is which on last gen.

So a reporter, Michael Pachter, at EuroGamer/VideoGamer said that Criterion Games is developing a Battlefield spin-off, set to release in 2015. Criterion has worked on the Burnout and Need for Speed series. Later, the blog was updated, and Pachter now says that he thinks it's Visceral Games, the producers of the popular Dead Space series, is working on the game. "Although EA has yeet to announce a Battlefield game for FY15(Financial Year 2015), we believe Criterion Games is working on a military shooter that may become a brand extention for the Battlefield Franchise." In the later update, after speaking with EA, he says that "they [EA] confirmed that our understanding is spot on and that if a version of Battlefield were to be released in F…Read more >
