In a recent tweet from Gustav Halling, Battlefield 3s lead designer, Halling stated "Details from AK are coming in from #E3, but I just want to clarify that the [AC-130] Gunship is a two-seater with two weapons each, and a paradrop spawn, not 4 seats." His reasoning for this (a guy on the tweeter asked why) is that "And how often do you end up with a good transport helicopter pilot randomly on a server that helps you get kills?"
