BF3 expansions announced
Well I didn't believe it at first, but it's been confirmed, three new expansions for Battlefield 3 have been announced.
They are, in order:
- Close Quarters - Set for a June release, Close Quarters sounds to be, of course, a closed-in expansion; it will probably focus on infantry combat, and will, like B2K, feature new weapons and assignments.
- Armored Kill - As its namesake indicates, it will be a vehicle-heavy pack, and is set for a fall launch date. It will feature new tanks, ATVs (like the Quad Bike, probably), and even mobile artillery, as well as what is being called the "biggest map in Battlefield history".
- End Game - Set for a winter release, it's quite likely that, as its namesake would indicate, be the end of BF3 expansions. Very little info was given on that particular pack.
So there you have it, the long-awaited BF3 DLC.
