As of late, I felt like switching it up a bit and playing as an Assault. I've been having a lot of fun with it. While I don't consider myself an expert on the subject, I think I've gathered enough experience to write a little how-to. So, without further ado, I present, "How to be an Assault"

I was originally going to write an extended article, but I decided this would be much easier. Everything else for general combat is pretty easy to get a hang of. But for Assaults, there is one simple rule that must be remembered.
Blow. Shit. Up.
It's true!
Explosives are the Assault's best friend. Between the 40mm Grenade launcher and regular hand grenades, even C4, the Assaults' build is to break things. But it's easy to overlook. Let me remind you about something. The grenade launcher is weak as hell compared to other games. You need to score a hit within 1.3 meters to get a kill right off the bat. The hand grenades are pretty weak, too. There is nothing noobish about using the grenade launcher or frags. It's what the class was built for. So blow some shit up!
So, as simply as I can say this: use the explosives. Shoot them at people. Throw frags. Spam them! It's totally legit!
