About the M14 variant... Edit

I believe you in that it's certainly a different M14 that's seen in the AK commentary. Unfortunately, the video quality doesn't let us see much about it other than the 20-round mag (probably why everyone keeps undoing your edit). I think unless it's actually confirmed to be in AK, we might want to hold off on it.

My guess is DICE pulled a similar stunt to BC2's VIP Map Pack 2 Trailer with the 4X scope on the Mk 14 exclusive to themselves, and we'll see the weapon officially unveiled as part of either AM or EG - like how it took a while for the 4X to show up on the G3 and Mk 14 despite DICE showing it off earlier. The other two expansions at least have confirmed that they will add new weapons according to the BF3 site anyways. PresidentEden78 17:44, July 31, 2012 (UTC)

RE: APC vs IFV Edit

Personally, I see APC's as exactly what they are. Armored personnel carriers. They transport infantry to the front and provide minor support with a machinegun or two, like the M113 or the base variant Sd.Kfz 251, as if they were a land-based equivalent to a transport helicopter. They may stick around for a bit on the front, but are primarily for transportation.

IFV's on the other hand are akin to the Mi-24 Hind. They bring in infantry, but can also bring on some pain with a small-caliber (for an armored vehicle) gun/autocannon. The LAV-25 is an IFV for this reason, rather than what BF2 thinks. Same goes for BC1 and 2 considering the M2 and BMD-3 light tanks when they're IFV's.

However, personal opinions aside and as for how we should handle this, I'd say go the same route as with naming articles. Whichever name type (either APC or IFV) comes up more, then its called that. PresidentEden78 23:40, August 4, 2012 (UTC)

Just to note, the chat occasionally fails to identify people leaving.

For example when your child or heir (DiCePWNeD) left the chat yesterday it failed to identify him ever leaving as well as when Yuri left the chat functioned perfectly, it just showed him still in the chat and until I refereshed was stuck there.

Multiple Articles for maps that appear in multiple games Idea... Edit

We both know many popular maps are put in new games in the Series like Wake Island. Many are featured in the same article like the maps from BF2 that are in BF3. So y, i ask, are there separate articles for maps versions of maps like Iwo Jima and Wake Island? I would like to know the reason why my edits on the VSS page were completely reverted. Was my edit that bad to revert it without an explanation?

Alright, I got it, I'll try keep my experiences seperate but you might want to look at the VSS page again, it was/is pretty subjective (If you don't mind explaining or getting someone else to explain but I am confused over what I should do if I'm even supposed to do anything, another one of my edits got reverted and the previous version got completely cut in half).

Some of the info on the VSS page was and now is wrong (which I had corrected in my last edit), such as recoil strength, bullet count, speed, max range and drop. May I correct that without half the page disappearing?
