"In a surprise move, forces of the People’s Liberation Army have attacked and captured Wake Island in a bid to threaten US lines of supply. USMC forces have been short-stopped from their deployment in Manchuria to respond to this new threat. The airbase on Wake Island is the lynchpin of the Chinese air threat, however it is highly susceptible to ground attack from either the northern or southern approaches of the island. "

[edit] General Overview

During the beginning of matches, the game almost immediatly becomes a frenzied situations of the American forces trying to get infantry to the beach heads of the island while the PLA viciously try and prevent the USMC from gaining a foothold on the island. The strategic play of the map is simple. While the PLA can cripple the Americans while they try and assault the island, once the Americans begin to capture command posts on Wake Island they can rapidly close in on the rest of them.

Wake islands flags are: The US Aircraft carrier which cannot be captured, The Chinese airfield, North and South villages, and the beach.

[edit] USMC

The USMC assets are mainly located on the the carrier but their artillery is based on a small mass of land in the bay of wake island.

The PLA assets are mainly at the airfeild command post. their artillery is located on a small beach next to the outpost near the remains os a boat.

[edit] Strategic Points

There are bridges in this map which can be destroyed and repaired. Destroying the bridges would halt enemy vehicle movements and slow down infantry.
